Yogi bear

Hatha. Vinyasa. Chakra.
The above are all terms I'd never heard of before starting yoga.

I always thought yoga was something only health conscious people did - I'd heard the stories but never realised how relaxing it truly was until trying it myself.
I started out by dabbling with pilates during University. I know there are entirely different forms of exercise but my gym never offered a yoga class. I thought that by attempting a similar style of exercise I'd prepare myself - boy was I wrong!
Yoga has opened up my eyes and mind to how inflexible I actually am. A few months ago I decided that I was going to practice yoga for at least 5 days a week during Lent. It was one of the best decisions I'd ever made; I felt more relaxed, was more flexible, and actually looked forward to mastering a new position each week.
I went on a family holiday in May, and haven't continued with my practice since coming back. I'm aiming to start it all up again, but I'm struggling with where to start. I'm hoping to start with Adriene's 30 days of yoga and make my way through the plethora of practitioners online - and this time I don't plan on stopping!
