It's already been 6 days into the New Year and I've now only just found the time to say Happy New Year and round up how my 2017 has gone.
In the last 6 months my life has been a complete whirlwind. I would describe it as a rollercoaster (cliché, I know) but that simply means there's been some lows with the highs. The majority of the year for me has been pretty incredible and I liked it a lot.
I was always seeing people, places, and learning new skills. I hit the one year mark at the company I work for, passed my driving test, owned my first car, and went on my first holiday with my boyfriend. I've been incredible busy. I made sure I saw as much of the people who matter to me as often as I could - it's always time well spent.
I guess 2018 has a lot to live up to, but I have no doubt. Positivity is key!
There's family to visit abroad, friends to laugh with, a boyfriend to be loved, work to be created and improved on, animals to pet, places to visit, and most importantly myself to be pushed. That's my resolution for this year; to push myself. Not in a way that will upset me and make myself cry, nobody wants that, but one that allows me to be me and believe in myself.
Believe that I can do the things I want. That I'm good at what I do, in all aspects of my life, and that I'm doing what I am for me. At the end of the day isn't that the biggest achievement of all - being yourself?
Here's to 2018 - the year of being the truest me I can be.

At least I think it should be. I know it will be for myself.
