January Round-Up
A new blogging goal of mine is to create a monthly round-up post of what I wanted to achieve each month and if I've actually achieved it.
The two things that I wanted to improve on this January are below:
Start replacing unhealthy habits with healthy ones
Over Christmas and the New Year, my lifestyle got a bit lost - late nights, late mornings etc. I needed to sort this out to be more productive again. I really needed to break my snacking and processed meals habit. I've already started working on it by ensuring I do a bi-weekly shop for fresh fruit and veg, and walking the dog every other day each week. The latter has been pretty difficult with all of the horrible weather recently but I've certainly given it a go!
Start saving more money
The boyfriend and I have decided to visit Croatia this year and will be travelling together in 2020 - both of which will require money (especially the latter!). Now the January sales are over, I've decided to reign it in and start properly saving. I've set up a standing order into my savings account to ensure I don't forget after each pay check and opened up a high interest account with Halifax.
At the end of February, I'll recap on this month, and ramble on about the two things I'd hoped to achieve in the shortest month of the year!
